Who we are
The Fast and the Furio Sailing Team is a team of professional sailors established, lovers of the sea and of the challenges. Active from 30 years in the world of racing with an incredible track record of success.
The team at Fast and Furio is the natural continuation of the Sailing Planet, a group of friends (brothers Benussi, Stefano Spangaro), which, since 2000 organized events related to the world of sailing,.
then, Each one has undertaken its own way: Gabriele Benussi and Stefano Spangaro in the world of professional and Furio Benussi with his project Fast and Furio.

CHALLENGES
The team he made his debut with the formula of the handicap IMS, in which the yards they compete with each other, competing with the X-Yachts, sailing boats between 35 and 65 feet. In 2002, the currency of the tunic, with the Grand Soleil buys the whole team and win the Italian championships, the european championships and also the Giraglia.
The 2002 was also the year of the victory at the Middle Sea Race with Amer Sports 1 one of the two ships recovered from the Volvo Ocean Race around the world in a sailing boat. The two Amer (Amer Sports 1 and Amer Sports 2), fermi Southempton, they are made to be reborn with the project Finishing Challenge. The team Benussi transforms two boats still sailing in the Gulf of Trieste. After the Amer Sports 1 and 2 here come the X-Sports and the Grand Soleil 56, built from the ground up to the Yards Green Marine. “The Force of destiny” is the first Swan 45 of the story and leads the team to victory in the Giraglia giving way to a new phase for the team Benussi , which will be the contact person for all the Swan 45 to be put in the water. The group is dedicated, then, classes, one-design: J22, J24, mumm30, farr40 , obtaining very good results with Riccardo Bonadeo.
